Dragon Eye, PI

I first started writing Dragon Eye, PI stories when I wanted something completely different to submit to the nthology Firestorm of Dragons. After that, I kept witing his stories. I adore having a character that expresses a hard-core cynicism yet has a lot of heart (sometimes whether he wants to or not!). It's been a great venue for playing with cliche' and legends. I mean, where else can you combine Celtic myth, modern fantasy, and the Biblical Ten Plagues of Egypt and get a coherent story! Vern can pull t off--after all, he has the wisdom of the ages.
