"Artic Dragon" By *Flute*

Species: The Arctic Dragon

Lifespan: 125-140 years

Where it lives: In the Arctic

When it lived: First Ice age, up until today. Although very rarely seen.

Mating habits: They live in family groups, usually with one or two males at the head. (Think a pride of lions). They mate when the females come into season.

Eating Habits (Herbivorous, Carnivorous, Omnivorous): Carnivorous

Behavior: They are a hardy species, who live in tight knit groups of about 12-15 individuals. They are fairly quiet, and conserve their energy and heat instead of battling. They rarely encounter humans, but when they do, they often just “melt” away into their surroundings. They are well camouflaged, and their coats and scales often change their colour to suit the temperature and weather conditions.

Lungs (Number): 3, two for normal breathing, one for Ice breath.

Wingspan: 25-32 feet.

Height: 8-10 feet

Width: 16-24 feet

Weight: 200-250 pounds

Breath Attack: Ice

Weapons (Other then fire): They do not possess fire. They use their large claws and powerful teeth as weapons, as well as an ice breath.

Hunting tactics: Stalking, they use their colour to camouflage themselves against their surrounds. Often they use aerial attacks.

What it eats: Mainly seals, but they have been known to tackle larger prey at times.

Number of young per year: 1 every 10 years or so.

Skin Covering (Scales, Fur ect.): Both fur and scales. They have a large mane, which runs the length of their body. The tail is fur, and they have patches on their hind legs, shoulders and fore legs. Feathered wings. The males have rams horns which are used in battle.
