From My Head to the Net

Lysaru is a Gerudo. She is a young woman with a scret she and her mother have been trying to keep hidden from the other women since her birth. Lysaru is a twin; a twin girl with a twin brother. The brother, Axel, was born a head of his time, fathered by the last male Gerudo. No one knows how the male baby was born before his time but it caused tension and various plots towards the twins. The mother decided to flee the valley, to raise the children elsewhere and keep them hidden from the other Gerudo in order to keep them safe. All their lives Lysaru and Axel were raised in Kakariko Village. The native villagers were weary for awhile about the Gerudo family but in time came to accept the three foreigners and treated them like anyone else in the village. The twins did have a fair share of adventures in the village and even managed to sneak off to Death Mountain on occasion. But when the twins reached the age of 18 they had grown tired of the village life and wanted to see the rest of Hyrule. They left the village and obeyed their mother's wishes of staying as well hidden and cautious as possible. As the two travel they do not always stay together due to various circumstances and the key thing they learn is: You can take the gerudo out of the valley, but you can't take the valley out of the Gerudo.
