Draconigena

You may remember this post in the update section:

Draconigena is officially entered in the Wylde contest for WolfHowl 2007! We have relocated to the Broadleaf Wood biome in the Wylde. Enter the Wylde and press F3 until you see 'Broadleaf Wood' emitted on your text area. If the dream is up, you can't possibly miss it from that warping point - just walk Southeast a few paces and you'll pop in!

Well, the judges have viewed the contestants and the results are in!

It is undecided what will be done with the prize GDS, but it will most likely go towards a group package for the dream (new locals and some other nifty stuff!).

Nothing will be done with the prize GDS until the member count is higher, or it would be wasted money.

First of all, we would like to welcome you to Draconigena, and thank you for your interest in the dream. :D Before entering the IC section of the dream, please remove all Digo items (with the exception of wings if you are a squirrel/skunk, eagles, Ferians, and portraits if they are of a feral character). Digo items may have their own, possibly non-canine avatars eventually, but for now they are not allowed in the IC region of the dream. Please feel free to use any and all Digo items while in the OOC section of the dream. Thank you for cooperating!

This is a roleplaying dream, not a socializing dream. Please save yourself and us some trouble and frustration by reading the Rules page, as well as the Pack pages (or at least the page of the Pack you are placed in). Don't know how to roleplay? We'll be glad to help you out!

Roleplaying a Deer, Fox, Rabbit, Bird, Feline, or Bear 
Deer, foxes, rabbits, birds, and other non-canine species have a few special rules. You do not need to ask to play a non-canine, but please see the bottom of the Rules page for important information about roleplaying these kinds of characters so that the dream is kept running smoothly. Birds don't have their own section yet, and a couple of the newer sections lack details, but it's all common sense and similar to the sections on the other species.

  • No glitches found. Please report anything you find wrong with the dream to one of the staff members or post it on the boards using the link indicated above.

  • Seeking: Better Bovine (the new wolf avatar) portraits! None of the ones from Roamheart, please. If you know of a wolf portrait set from somewhere other than Roamheart, please let us know! The markings don't have to match the avatar; I can edit them easily. Currently needed- Wolf: Male, Female, Unspecified 
  • Last auto-deer update: 9/30/07 - Please inform a staff member if you have a deer character who needs to be on the list to automatically be changed to the localspecies upon entering the dream. 
  • There are two Guardian (staff) positions open. You can click HERE to see the application.

Random Facts:
Some people might consider us a little wacky. Maybe we are, but we have fun! :3 Why? Well... Here are a few quirky things that make us love Draconigena:

• Most of the patrons are a little crazy, but they're completely harmless. <3
• The plots that occur in the dream originate from the patrons - you can help decide what happens!
• For some reason, something like 3/5 of all the inanimate objects in the OOC area have received a name from the patrons. For example: Sephiroth the tree, Cloud the signpost, Steve the pillow (and his twin brother Stu), Jeffery the stool, Bob the stump....
• Some patrons are very attatched to the spots they've claimed (or items they've named, as the case may be).
• Even if they don't have a character IC at the moment, just about everybody sitting in the OOC area is willing to roleplay with you, if you ask them.
• Our pillows can make you bounce/float. Oooooh.
• The Jar (also known as 'TJ') gets thrown around a lot. Mostly at Zeto's head.
• Every so often, 'conga lines' get coordinated in the OOC area for no reason whatsoever.
• Most of us say "Weba!" instead of "Welcome back!" - a fad started by Shadou.
• Accents're fun, thay are! Don' be s'prized if'n yeh be seein' 'em upon occasion.
• BEER! (No, not the drink - the animal! o: )
• One word: Spontaneity
• Prinism. 'Nuff said.
• Sing along time!
