Welcome back to
a new and exciting school year!
In a couple of weeks we will begin the 07-08 school year. This year will be
an exciting and energizing one. Every student takes a step closer to graduating
and every student has the opportunity to make this year their best year.
From October 28-31st the New England Association of Schools and Colleges will
send 15 representatives to David Prouty High School to complete an accreditation
process. This evaluation is done every ten years. As the administration, faculty
and staff, we are excited about this visit and we are looking forward to their
insights as we look to make a great school an even better one.
I apologize in advance for all the paperwork your child will bring home on
the first day of school, but it is absolutely necessary. Please take the time
to read the information and sign where necessary. Please pay close attention
to the student handbook. The handbook is a guide/reference tool for you and
your child to ensure that he/she has a quality education in a safe and appropriate
environment.
