"I hired Valerie on as my Doula starting August of 2006 and it was the best decision that I could have made. My husband was deployed at the time and she gave me much needed peace and comfort knowing there would be someone by my side if my husband could not make it to the delivery. Well it was a difficult last trimester due to an injury and Valerie spent much time with me helping me and even came to a few doctor's visits with me. You can definitely rely on Valerie when it comes to responsibility and dependability, two things that I desperately needed at that time. Well, things turned out quite well my husband made it to the birth, though the delivery was short of what I had wanted. Valerie was there by my side as well coaching me and offering much needed support and comfort. Though I ended up with a C-section, she stayed at the hospital until things were clear for her to go. I delivered a very healthy and beautiful baby boy, Nicholas, on November 11, 2006.
Valerie and I still have a great relationship more like friends than a business like relationship. She put me instantly at ease with her knowledge and warm personality. I have only positive things to say about her and I loved her so much she will now be by my side yet again for my second child.
My husband may not be there yet again BUT I have no worries for I know that I will be in her very capable hands."
