My name is Doug and I'm a writer. I've penned ten feature length screenplays, four shorts, and one original television pilot in the span of ten years. My work has made the semifinals of the prestigious AMPAS Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting as well as other contests.

"Rail Fan" did not make the Semifinals in the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. However, being a Quarterfinalist isn't that bad. Now I can start shopping the script around.

My TV pilot "The Patrol" made the second round of the Page International Screenwriting Awards. Fingers are crossed for the quarterfinals.
