Welcome to the Double Bar H. We are the Davis Holder Family; Davis, Patricia, Colt & Krislyn. We are located near Bugtussle, which is in south central Kentucky. I, Davis, have been active with cattle since childhood on the same farm, the Barren River Angus Farm, that I still live on with my family. Part of this farm has been in our family since the 1860’s. Double Bar H started in 2001 with the purchase of four Gelbvieh heifers. In the fall of 2003, we started a new livestock adventure, meat goats.
From the beginning we have selected our stock for productivity and color. Four of the first five does we originally purchased were red. In the spring of 2004 we purchased two registered paint does, Ginny & Cookie. In May of 2004 our biggest purchase arrived here from T4 Ranch in Texas, “T4 Polkamon.”
