William Adams Bass/Baritone grew up around Dorchester and Weymouth, and still lives and sings in Dorset.
"In 1992 I started classical/Opera singing with the help of local singing teacher James Davis, I had quite a few lessons over the period up to 2000. In 2000 I decided to take the singing more seriously and joined the Weymouth Operatic Society. Also in 2000 I entered the Bournemouth music festival. I was selected to represent Bournemouth at the 2000 Leeds Millennium Music Festival, singing a Porgy and Bess duet with a local Soprano. As a member of Weymouth Operatic Society I have enjoyed playing several roles including Lord Mount Ararat and the Grand Inquisitor in G&S operetta at the Weymouth Pavilion, and as a bass soloist I have sung for several local charities performing mostly oratorio, or operatic solos as part of concerts".
I have enjoyed making this recording, especially as most of the songs will never have been recorded before and others not heard for almost 100 Years
