The League Presentation Night was last Friday 2nd October at the New Marske Sports Club.

Steve Hutchinson did really well in the individual category, picking up best Batting average, most League runs scored in 2009 and most outfield catches taken. Kev Moon won the wicketkeeping award for most dismissals and Charlie Hatch did extremely well in the bowling category as well as being the champion roulette player on the night, only to be robbed late on!!!!

Welcome to Dormanstown C.C                                                             SEASON 2009..last game was away to Hartlepool PS on September 19th. See you all next season.

We have been members of the Cleveland Cricket League since 1922 when DORMAN LONG built a sports centre for their employees in Dormanstown. This was named the Dorman Long Athletic Club and from this 'REDCAR WORKS' Cricket Section was formed; various honours have been won by the section including winners of the prestigious Kerridge Cup in 1990, other successes include Cleveland Cup Runners-up in 1962 and 1963.

Circa 1995 Redcar Works underwent a name change and became Dormanstown C.C. and since then have won the Jarvis Cup and the Berresford Trophy on more than one occasion as well as winning the Second Division Championship in 2006 by a record number of points and going through the season without losing a single game, winning the Jarvis Cup, the Beresford Trophy and the League in the same season. A season that involves winning all three trophies is a rare accomplishment.

We are currently in the 1st Division of the league and are looking to maintain the steady improvement made in recent seasons..
