Regular Season Complete

     After a season that had more unexpected downs than ups, I managed to end the season 13th in the Angler of the Year points standings and qualify for the Regional Championship on Kerr Lake, October 10-11. It's been nice to just get off of the River for a while and spend some time on local Lake Anna brushing back up on my finnesse tactics for Kerr next month. I expect the fishing to be tough on Kerr, but with a little determination and prior planning, I have high hopes for a good news kind of weekend and am looking foward to accomplishing my next goal which is to qualify for the National Championship and a shot for a berth into the 2009 Bassmaster Classic.                

Potomac River Curveball

     After finishing in 6th place at my last ABA/BASS Bassmaster Weekend Series Tournament, I had a disappointing follow-up finish this past weekend on the Potomac River. I finished in 50th place on our 4th tournament of the year and failed to do what I had made my goal at the beginning of the year...
