Well it's been a few months since we sent in the petition. We've heard nothing. How unfortunate.

 Not sure if any horses have been euthanized since then....

Mountain and Gatsby.... Don't know what is going to happen to them. I had a friend down in Iowa who offered to take in the boys. She volunteers at a VERYY good rescue down there, and that rescue would've taken in Mountain and Gatsby, where they could've lived out the rest of their lives. She emailed DEFHR and they never got back to her. So I'm assuming a home for Mountain and Gatsby is not necessary. I hope they do not get euthanized because I'm still getting many emails from people who want to rescue them.

We can only wish Mountain and Gatsby GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Guys, you have been nothing but WONDERFUL, and you are so amazing, thanks so much.  

For all the wise guys out there, we aren't anti-euthanasia. MAYBE if you read correctly, you'd be able to see that. 

I suggest before making ANY assumptions, you contact us and ask questions. Our inbox blocks and deletes any emails that include inappropriate content.

Many people are not grasping the purpose of the protest, and they do not fully understand the situation.

As this protest is winding down, we would just like to thank all of the horse rescues and organizations that have supported us. We know it took a lot of guts for you to side with us against another rescue's beliefs. We'd also like to thank the anti-slaughter organizations that have continually supported us throughout this protest. Another thanks goes out to the animal shelters and animal rescues/sanctuaries that have also offered us their continued support! And last, but most deffinitely not least, a VERY SPECIAL thanks to all the individuals out there who knew and completely understand our point, and support us! We thank you so much!! Summary:

 Days End Farm Horse Rescue is putting to sleep horses that really shouldn't be dying. They are healthy (for the most part), horses that just need training, but DEFHR wants to make room for new horses, so they are euthanizing horses that shouldn't be euthanized.

Updates:

Mountain and Gatsby were euthanized on Thursday because of their age. Old Isn't Bad. And it Doesn't Mean "WORTHLESS".

Justice a horse is SAVED. She was probably going to get put down, but she is SAFE. 

We need as MANY signatures as possible PLEASE get your friends and family to sign this petition so that we can STOP the euthanasia at Days End Farm!
