All enteries have been chosen, Check the Equinics Menu page to see which horses are going to be nominated. The next task is i need everyone with a horse running to email me with

Horses name, Your stable name and the race entered. The enteries for each race are given a code. I need your e-mails so that i can send you the code when i recieve it so you can enter your horse. though you are nominated you cannot run with out it. Once i get them i will send them to each owner by race name. I cannot post them online so it needs to be by email or private message. 

you need to send me your email by the 2nd of August.

So i had some people tell me they had problems using the message board. As for some of the races i have nominated my horses which are probably not the best of enteries.

I am Extending all enteries till July 25 at noon PST

I want us to have a good turn out and as right now our 2 year olds look pretty strong our older hores look weak. My e-mail and the rash forum as well as the sim message board will be acceptable places to nominate. If you need a list of the race go to Equinics Menu on the rash site. do not forget i need the name of the horse, ID# and the name of the stable which the horse is in.

 

To encourage perticipation i will be figuring out some contest, the trainer who earns the most points during equinics will get a 250 credit bonus on their next pay out, 2nd place 100 and 3rd 50 credits. you earn points by where you finish. 20 points for 1st place, 19 for second and so on, if a race has less than 20 say 14 last place will earn you the same # of points if it had 20 runners.

Alright so these are the races i have recieved nominations for. CAB check out your nomination. hes a turf horse, you nominated him for the distance he likes on dirt, so i highlighted it and put him down for the turf. if thats alright send me an e-mail or something..

 

As for this ANY RACE HIGHLIGHTED i will accept nominations for unilt weds July 23 at noon. We don't want a poor representation at Equinics. All entried with nominees are closed those with only one horse are nominated by default. I will go through and post the selected horses as soon as i can. Mind you that might be tomorrow instead of tonight as planned.

i have 11 enteries myself alone. that is sad. my horses suck. come on people. I am going to give those who maybe didnt get a chance to nominate horses. PLEASE take part in this event as its not every year, and should be fun for those involved.

Equinics Week 3672

Dont forget to nominate your horses, Nominations are Due July 19th at NOON PST.

On sat evening i will go through using the average of the last 5 speeds and placings the horse has to judge which horse is best. as right now we have little competiton there is a good chance That many horses will be nominated by default.  So sign up this is your chance to enter a horse that maybe wouldnt get in to G1 competition other wise.

Two year olds will be judged seperatly by an impartial judge, my husband, who knows enough to judge.

Remember only 3 horses per trainer per race. And only 1 horse per race will be chosen.

It has been brought to my attention that there are players who are recieving credits who have stables that are not running or support other residencies.

These 32 stables have been taken off the credit distribution and are not eligible to receive credits.

There is a list posted on the message board of all those who have been cut.

The rules state that a stable must have horses running and be supporting RASH to recieve credits.

To be considered running i have imposed a 5 week rule. If the stable has not run a horse in 5 weeks, it will be cut. There were many stables that have not run horses since 3511. These stables will not be allowed to count towards the credit distribution as they are not bringing in any points to add to the conglomerate total.

This is effective as of now! If you plan to take a break, please inform me by email. You will not recieve credits during this break and if you are found to have gone on a break and not informed me, you will not receive any credits.

Please email me if you are switching residencies.

I used my judgement when looking at the stables this weekend. If you think your stable has been removed in error, please email me. I have looked through many stables and saw many with horses older than 2 that have not run in 5 or more weeks. I can understand a resting period and will not take you off the list for giving your horse a rest. However, in this case i would assume that other horses in the stable will continue to run. If not, I will consider the stable inactive and it will be taken off the list.

 

I know this is harsh, but the enforcement of the rules make it fair to all those involved. I recieved complaints and i myself was found guilty as i was unaware of the rules. So i am making it known and i have take those stables of mine that are not active off the list. I will continue to take complaints and those who decide to pester and fight me about enforcing rules will find themselves no longer members. I hate to be the bad girl, but i realize that those of us who are running are horses and earning points deserve to reap the benefits of this residency.

Hello all,

This is taffy, so with the recent absence of our administrator I have taken a vote, (me, myself, and I). We voted Donny off the island. In other words I will be handling all credit distributions, and all administration business. Until I see it fit to let Donny back on the Island of Anarchy.     Hi Gang - we're finally making inroads at RASH HQ.  The database is being rebuilt, the data is being re-entered, and credits are going out.  This all should be complete by Sunday evening (April 13th), so check your credit accounts for updates.  User info and membership lists will be updated as well - please check it out to make sure you're properly represented!

Phase II will be going into effect shortly as well - let's aim for mid-May.  A few tactical changes to address, but nothing fundamental in the way RASH is set up, or its core values.  A little flexibility may be added - just like any organism, it will have to evolve to fit the landscape and climate it exists in!

In other news....RASH2 stables' CLANDESTINA recently ran a game 2nd in an overnight turf stake...the winner of which will be favored for the 2000 Guineas (or something like it) in weeks to come.  Big things in this girl's future, we suppose....


Donny B. (that's me) hopes to have more time to be seen and heard around these parts now that 'life' has stabilized somewhat - thanks to all of you who've supported the RASH movement and waited patiently during our down time!

Profuse apologies on the RASH caretaker's part for the near-absence from the site over the last few weeks.  It appears the worst is behind us at the moment (or is it the calm before the storm?)  and we can get back to taking care of RASH in good order.

Most of you should have received a RASH credit hail of about 8 credits per stable, which covers a 3 week period.  Those of you who were not paid will be receiving your shares in the next few days.  As always, if you need your credits immediately, just email donnybeisbol@yahoo.com and we'll take care of it!

So here's how you can help...because of the massive support RASH has received, maintaining the database of changing stables and # of stables per trainer, not to mention trainers with multiple 'master stable' group, has become a mountainous task. What I am asking is that each RASH member post or send an email with the TOTAL number of stables they have supporting, and the name of the stable they would like all those credits transferred to.

I have this information for some of you, but not for all.  This will cut down on the lag time in figuring out who gets what...and update your rightfully deserved credits in a timely matter!  If you add or delete a stable, it is no longer necessary to tell me exactly which stables belong, only the TOTAL NUMBER of stables you have supporting.

Thank-you for your understanding, and thanks for supporting the only residency that returns ALL of its credits to the trainers!!!!

RASH approaches another milestone....we're close to 400 stables, that's HUGE!!!

RASH trainers back on track in Week 3476, earning 929 credits,  2.6 credits per stable.

Tons of new trainers since the last update, including a few people you may have heard of in the past, and others to watch in the future.  Take a gander at the Membership List to see who's joined the movement.

Congratulations to RASH associates Kaif and Squirrel, who eached picked up TWO end of the year SIM Eclipse awards.  They are very worthy!

Still offering 50 credits for each unraced horse donated to 'rash' or 'rash2' stables.  A 100 credit bonus will be awarded to the trainer who donates any horse which wins a MdSpWt in its first start.  All credits will come from other donations, not what the residency earns, as usual!  Any donated horse which goes on to win a stakes race will receive a complimentary BP breeding from that resident stable, up to 500 BP's!!!!

New feature: Hot trainer of the week!  Email or post your BP earning exploits (homebred winners, good claim or auction buy, massive BP hauls, whatever) to be eligible for monthly kickback awards.  RASH wants you to earn as many BP's as possible.

RASH is no longer closing in on the big-boy residencies of the SIM.....we have arrived!

  12-12-07   RASH ascends to 5th place in BP's earned for the week!
Congrats to the collective - another milestone achieved, and more on the way.

In the meantime, we've got several new trainers enlisted to the RASH ranks -  a formal welcome is coming, but there are so many it is hard to keep up!  Many of you are spreading the word - keep up the good work!

Credit shares were rounded up to 3 credits per stable for week 3427.  If you did not receive your fair share of credits, please post or send an email to let us know.

For weeks 3434 and 3441, the RASH credit moderator will be on hiatus.  To keep some continuity, many of you have received a credit advance, based on expected outcomes for RASH earnings in those weeks.  Any new stables you add between now and then, or higher BP outputs resulting in greater shares will be settled up after week 3448.

The following trainers did NOT receive a credit advance and will be owed the full amount after week 3447:  evildoer, gonzo, larsoniss, shagfarms, zimzam, pgpg, billy2shoe, bcumming1, and bristolred.  The decision to do so was based solely on sign-up order or previous credits received.  If you REALLY need your credits before then, post a message and I'm sure someone will help you out - RASH will repay the person making the loans in full after 3448.

Don't forget that the collective stables are open and ready to receive horses!  rash and rash2 are the stables that we will populate with donations and run as a group.  Just breed a horse directly into the stable, or transfer an unraced homebred.  So far the lineup includes BAR K RASH by Cryptoclearance, with SHINING EXAMPLE (Fantastic Light) and DOWN WITH CAPITAL (Down the Aisle) on the way, too.  If you have unused retired mares sitting around, and think they might be worth breeding for BP potential, why not send them to the rash stables?  If they turn out to be nice, we all share in the glory!

Thanks for putting up with the delays and credit snafus (sorry barndog!) - the webmaster has been under the weather, not to mention a bit slow...but we'll be back roaring to go in 2008.  RASH ON!

    12-3-07  Volume III of the Flyer is out - so check it out!
  RASH collective stables are on the way - check here for updates.  We will accept donations starting week 3434 and to make it simple, we'll start racing in 2008.  That way there's time to work out the remaining logistical details, and think about strategy. 
Credits are going out Monday evening (game time).  Congrats on a job well done - we are firmly in 9th place among residencies, and should climb even higher in the coming weeks.
We want to hear about your successes -- RASH may implement a "member bio" page where you can add any info you'd like to introduce yourselves to the other RASH members.  Don't forget to come and visit the unofficial RASH hangout, the Simulated Sports Forum Chat Room.  There's no secret handshake (yet), just mention the word RASH, and you're likely to find a member or 5 in there at the same time.

11-27-07   Week 3413 Credit Report:  RASH earned 536 credits to be distributed among 201 stables, for a Credit Share of 2.67 credits per stable.  Total credits were rounded up to the nearest whole number (and nearest multiple of 5 for owners with more than 5 stables).  If you did not receive your fair share of credits, please email donnybeisbol@yahoo.com and it will be fixed!

Still looking for bid race suggestions, claims and auction buy recommendations for our newer players, and submissions of any kind for the Ointment's Flyer and A Brief Conversation.   Think of it as an alternative version of the Black Type Bugler - there's no pesky bourgeoisie censorship here!

    11-18-07   RASH hits all-time high!    The results are in, and RASH racked up a whopping 3,766 BP's from 380 starters, just a hair shy of the golden 10 BP's per starter ratio.  That placed the collective 10th of all SIM residencies in only our 4th week of existence, and second week of credit eligibility.   And of those top 10 scoring residencies, only EAAA Racing had a higher earning ratio, but just barely  ( 10.01 to 9.91).

Credits have been sent to your master stable!  Please post in the RASH Forum or just email  donnybeisbol@yahoo.com  if something is amiss.  Lots of updates to the site:  Membership lists, new Forums, and a work in progress known as The Wall.  Still looking for members interested in being a "Conversation" candidate.  Stay tuned for information about voting on the future of RASH - credit distribution and executive power is in the hands of the collective!

11-13-07   After an anticipated delay due to SIM issues, and a generous suggestion by Minnesota's THEO (official Friend of RASH), the RASH counsel of the O3 contacted Simulated Sports creator Mike Wallace.  Mike was quick to respond and quicker to correct the issue...in fact, he gave RASH a generous heaping of bonus credits as a welcome to the Residency community!

More on that later...but for now, credits will be distributed to all stables who signed up for week 3399.

11 - 12 - 07   This just in... Residency results are up for the week, and RASH scored an impressive 2,294 BPs for the week!  We came in 15th overall in dollars earned, but the important number is the BPs. Congratulations!

The SIM was experiencing some problems last night, and I imagine that is what is causing a delay in the transfer of credits.  We'll let you know as soon as they have been received!

 

  11 - 10 - 07   WEEK 3 is a SUCCESS!!!  Entries closed with 119 Stables Supporting the RASH, with many more lined up for Week 4 (3506). 
Results will be tabulated and announced on 11-11-07.  Credits distributed on 11-12-07.
