Yesterdays, are all merely todays gone by
Memories which may bring a tear and a sigh
Or perhaps the remembrance of happiness and joy
The regressing of time, when you were a girl or a boy
Not one hour can be relived from your past days
You look back and wish you had changed your ways
There's no calling time back, what is done is done
There's no changing the race, once it is run
Tomorrows are merely todays not yet here
But the thought of tomorrow brings us hope and cheer
We have the hopes that tomorrow holds a brighter day
When perhaps at fate's change, things will go our way
Tomorrow's not tarnished with mistakes and remorse
If the race hasn't been run, we can still change the course
Perhaps you have said it and heard others say
I'll wait on tomorrow, for it's a whole new day
Today is the present, we're living today
Today we can control, not tomorrow or yesterday
For tomorrow may not come and today is already past
We must live for today, for what's done today will last
Today is the day of salvation saith the Lord
Accepting God's Son and Believing His Word
He will wipe the slate clean of yesterday's sin
With the help of our God, tomorrow's race we will win
