Revival begins when God refines and purifies His people and then fills them with His power. He places in their heart a renewed love for Himself and a love for those that are lost without God and hope in the world. In revival a Christian is taking the steps outlined in 2 Chronicles 7:14.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
As a Revivalist, Rev. Don Graham leads those present to focus upon the steps outlined in the above verse. If as God’s people we will humble ourselves, seek the face of God in honesty and confess our sins, God will hear our prayers, forgive our sins, and heal our land. This is a promise of God.
Let us remember Jesus' challenge to the church at Laodicea in Revelation chapter 3.
Evangelist is defined as a preacher who travels from town to town and from church to church, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. In that regard Rev Don Graham is an evanglist, however Don's focus ministry is that of a Revivalist.
