MAKE AN ICON

This is how to make a really cool icon like the none i have below :) :

1:Firsty star of with an image you want to make into and icon.I'm using one that has ashley tisdale and miley cyrus.Here it is:

2:Now it's time to resize it into icon size.take parts of the picture you want like i did below:

3:After that paste the part you selected into your program then right click, and click scale image.After that put the attributes to 100x100.If you have GIMP like i do and it dose not come out even paste it into paint then image and then attributes.Then make sure it's 100x100.

4:After you have made sure that it is the right one paste it as a new image and make a new layer.After the new layer is done fill it with the color #159e86.After you have filled it it should come out like this:

After that go to your layers properties and make the mode screen.

5:When you make the mode into screen it should turn out like this:

6:Now the really cool part begins!We add the texture.Now the texture will make the icon look really nice so copy one of these two textures:

7:I'm using the one with the lines.Please do not redistribute anything here!You may use the picture at the begining but nothing elese!
8:After you paste it in make the mode of the texture into burn and then merge it down.It should look like this now:

9:Hope this tutorial was good!You can use any other texture from anywhere else!REMEMBER DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE ANYTHING HERE!
