Two container trains pummel the main lines

The two locomotives pictured here are visiting from Norwood Park (www.freewebs.com/norwoodpark/) where they have been beautifully converted, enhanced and weathered by my friend, Matt.

An unidentified Deltic hammers south with a railtour

55 009 awaits refuelling before operating an enthusiasts' special

DRS-operated 47 237 trundles past the photographer on the up slow with a short nuclear flask train

A 46-hauled railtour thunders down the mainline

Business is booming at a seriously incomplete Doncaster station

A brand new Heljan Western pauses at Doncaster with a southbound railtour

An unidentified Freightliner 47 is captured from the window of a passing DMU as it rumbles south on the Up fast

D325 awaits the road north from Doncaster with a railtour. Sadly, the huge gap between bogie and body that afflicts the Bachmann 40 (as well as the 37 and 55) is most apparent with low level photography.

Another shot of the same tour. The comment made above applies here too. However, the shot shows two of the Roger Murray signals and TPWS to good effect.

37 heaven! 37 699 prepares to depart after a brief pause in Doncaster's platform 3 whilst an unkempt and unidentified 37 rumbles through in the opposite direction
