Donaghadee Ladies Netball Club

Welcome to the Donaghadee Ladies Netball Club website. We are a highly successful netball club with a thriving Senior and Junior section in the North Down area in Northern Ireland.

We currently have a number of past and present national and county players at U17, U19 and Senior level as well as a number of up and coming and extremely enthusiastic young players.

 

Donaghadee Netball Club was one of the first clubs set up in the North Down area and was founded in 1994 with just a few keen and enthusiastic players who wanted to go far. The club has grown tremendously in recent years and as long as there is netball it will continue to do so! At the moment there are over 50 members today!

In addition to weekly training and matches we also run a number of lively social events throughout the season such as the Christmas dinner and 'team building' weekend away, its a chance to let our hair down and in many cases to do a bit of fundraising for the club.

Congratulations to those girls in the Juniour Club who travelled to Marbella over Halloween to compete in the SOLSPORTS COMP and did I forget to mention they won!!?!?! Well Done Girls! 

Theres been a bit of a change to the up and coming season due to the increased number of players in the junior club.

Pre-season training kicks off on Monday 14th August at Clanmorris Campus (Seniors only)

All teams will start back on Monday 18th September at Bangor Tech Sportshall.

Training is as follows every Monday:

The NEW Minor Club for girls in P6- Year 8 will run from 6pm-7pm

The Junior Club for girls in Year 9-Year 12 will run from 7pm-8pm

Senior Training will then be from 8pm-9.30pm
