What Is a Blinkie?
A blinkie is an animated graphic, usually made with Animation Shop 3, Image Ready, Photoshop, or Paint Shop Pro. It consists of a number of frames, each with subtle differences that cause the graphic to "move". I specialize in making these little things for myself, friends, websites, promotions, etc. There is a large forum on livejournal that contains many blinkie makers as well as consumers. People use blinkies for signature tags on emails, bulletins, letters, blogs and they're even used for graphics on websites.
