He was very silent, both in words and in movements; he would never make an unnecessary gesture, like stroking his hair or tapping on the counter. He moved very steady, almost gracefully, and his deep voice carried a sophisticated tone. If he wouldn’t be so cold, he would make a perfect gentleman." - From Shuffle the decksKiahn is a calm and patient person who pays a lot of attention to details, whether it's about jewelry, cooking or home-decoration. He's often foud sitting by himself, avoiding people as much as possible. He doesn't like to play games or to fool around, and tends to holds grudges for a very long time. He will not trust you untill you have done something to earn it. The little humor Kiahn has is usually weird and mean, and it is very rare to see him smile. Although can be a grumpface from time to time, he is generous, protective and dependable. Don't think he's on the 'good side' though: if you betray him, he will slay you without hesitation. Kiahn shares some character traits with his little brother (trouble trusting people, being totally scary when mad) but is his opposite in other ways. Kiahn has excellent control over his body and gives out a strong 'do not mess with me if you want to live' kind of attitude. He longs for power, wealth and most of all, recognition. BackgroundBeing born with an extra eye, Kiahn was kept hidden for the biggest part of his childhood. His father didn't want him on the throne, but also couldn't just kill him, so Kiahn was send off to become a swordsmith. However, the boy wanted to learn how to make jewelry, and was taught to be a goldsmith instead. He was also trained by Shine in Erudo, and quickly became one of the Ligthwalkers, guarding the streets to eliminate rebels.When he turned 21, he was ready to claim the throne that was supposed to be his, but Shine attacked him by hitting him in the face with cooling fluid. Kiahn almost died from his injuries, but was rescued by Villian, who put him in a coma for ten years to heal his wounds (they were too severe and complicated to just be cured the regular way). He woke up in a field somewhere, his face still unfixed, and he started making his way back to Kazetsu. There he met Mitchell and Falcon, and persuaded them to trust him and help him break into the Palace to dethrone the Emperor. They didn't succceed though, and Kiahn was forced to flee from the Palace, taking his bodyguard Say with him. They started making way to North-Sungoh, but lost eachoter on the boats... Kiahn eventually started working in a small jewelry store in his new hometown and was able to rent a room. After Falcon and Say moved in, he got a letter form a reknown jewelry company to come work for them instead. They all moved to Osaku, where Kiahn now runs a small store. It seems like he has settled in Osaku, but a part of him still longs to go back home and take back his throne. LikesSay (kind of), reading, sleeping, collecting gems, making jewelry, poetry, being alone, buying new clothes, training, cleaning the house, the smell of cherry blossom and washed laundry.DislikesHis brother Ki'eiwa, Shine, Falcon, messy people, spiders, cold, instant noodles, fastfood, coffee, smoke, romantic comedies, people staring and making comments about his scar or eye, people asking him to show off his fighting skills, drawing attention to himself, being overruled.Fighting skillsKiahn was trained to wield short swords, but has taken a liking for daggers; lighter and easier to hide. His favourite move is a reversed frontal stab with his left hand to confuse his opponent and assasinate him in one blow. Stealthy, quick and silent are his trademarks. He's also a very good lockpicker and can sneak into any building if well prepared.He caims he doesn't train his fighting skills anymore but his reflexes tell otherwise. Maybe he feels like he has to be defend himself someday in the future... RelationshipsFalcon - arch enemy and roommate.Mitchell - random person he dislikes. Say - bodyguard & 'that special someone'. Ki'eiwa - younger brother. Shine - [no information] Villian - [no information] TattoosKiahn's got one tatto: a small butterfly on his right shoulder. Shine tattooed it on him while Kiahn was recovering from his injuries, and Kiahn actually didn't know he had it untill Say pointed it out to him. He's not all that pleased with it, though... ^^
