The kiss of the sun for pardon,
The song of the bird for mirth,
I am closer to God's heart in a garden,
Than anywhere else on earth.

For over 50 years, the Dogwood Garden Club has actively promoted an interest in gardening and horticulture. Its members work together in the conservation of natural resources, take an active part in civic planting, and cooperate with other organizations in furthuring the appreciation of gardening and community beautification.
Club members with diverse talents and interests come together monthly for educational and entertaining programs, tours and workshops. Additionally, many opportunities exist to "play in the dirt" by propagating cuttings for our plant sales and by sharing the extra plants from our yards with other Garden Club members. We hope that you find the information on this site helpful and we hope to see you at one of our next meetings!

We meet at the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church (800 Lawrenceville Hwy) on the second Friday of each month at 10 a.m. until noon. Our meetings are September through June; we don't meet in July and August so that our members can tend their gardens.
Please check our calendar page to see if we're meeting at the Presbyterian Church or have a field trip planned. Everyone is welcomed to join us at a meeting or on one of our field trips.

The Dogwood Garden Club is in the Laurel District, which is one of the seven Garden Club of Georgia districts. The Laurel District encompasses the northernmost part of the state.
We are in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in the heart of Gwinnett County.
