Kia Ora and welcome to Dogueridge Kennels.

Hi im Ange , and along with my husband Nath we manage

Dogueridge , an exclusive hobbyist Kennel , situated in the North

Island in beautiful  New Zealand. 

We have had dogs for years but have decided that these two

breeds are the breeds for us . So in the last five years we have  

stepped into the show / breed dog world and we are loving the

challenge , and the great friends we have made already as well as

the knowledge we have gained about these breeds.

But our dogs are first and foremost our beloved pets and a huge 

part of our family , and are treated as such.

The principles for our kennels will be to only breed to make the

quality of our Dogue de bordeaux and Rhodesian ridgebacks  we

have better, with the help of some top breeders worldwide , their

experience ,and  knowledge and the excellent bloodlines they have.

With a great emphasis on improving the health of the breeds

we have, especially the Bordeaux ,we will preform the  neccessary

 health checks , as in hip and elbow scoring and heart cerification

 for our bordeaux's on all our breeding stock .... some also being

 DNA profiled which we feel will prove very helpful  in the future

of the breed and our kennels.

One of our biggest aims will  be  to educate people as much as possible

on these two wonderful breeds, the pro's and con's of owning these 

breeds and the health issues that could effect them , and what to look

out for when looking at purchasing either of our breeds to make your

chances of ending up with heartache.
