Given that over 50 000 pet dogs have been slaughtered in Yunnan, China recently, the information in the link above should be a clear and distinct warning to any breeder who thinks their animals are going to a safe environment. China does not have an animal welfare policy and it is doubtful there will be will in the near future

The above link will take you to a Chinese Chat forum. Here you will see links to many Border Collie Breeders from around the world, their websites have been lifted and displayed without their permission. These breeders are contacted via their website by Chinese dog dealers asking for puppies and dogs for export. They use european names and will fabricate lies telling them the dogs are for show homes in an attempt to get breeders "onside" This happens in all breeds.

There are genuine dog fanciers in China but until animal welfare laws are improved and enforced by the Chinese government and other Asian governments it just isnt worth the risk exporting. I can't guarantee how long this link will be active.
