Jamie Oswalt, Representative of Dogs Deserve Better, was chained to a dog house for 12 hours to represent the suffering of chained, isolated dogs. The Unchain the 50 event took place at First Friday event on July 7th. 2007. The chaining took place on the North side of the courthouse square.
The event raised nearly $500.00 for local DDB. This money will be used to treat, groom spay/neuter and re-home chained dogs who have been relinquished to DDB.
Volunteer's and Foster homes are greatly needed as well as donations. You can donate to DDB at Art in Motion Pets or Kem Road Animal Hospital.
