16. CHARLES II WHEN PRINCE OF WALES: Probably painted 1643. Another Dobson portrait of the prince at this age is in the Royal Collection.

17. SIR CHARLES BLOUNT: 1643-1644.  *Image unavailable* Mapledurham House, Oxfordshire.

18. ENDYMION PORTER: c1643-1645.  Probably Dobson's most recognised work, on display at the Tate Britain.

19. COLONEL JOHN RUSSELL: Probably 1644. Private Collection. Russell sat for a number of portraits, at least two of which were by Dobson.  The first is shown here, but the location of the second is uncertain. It was likely painted in the same year.

21. PRINCE MAURICE: c.1644. Younger brother of Prince Rupert, and nephew of King Charles. Private Collection.
