2. MARY DONE: c1635-1638 *Image currently unavailable* One of Dobson's earliest known works. Recently purchased by the Grosvenor Museum in Chester, England.
3. Below: PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST'S WIFE: 1635-1640. This painting is believed to be Judith Dobson, William's second wife. Painted sometime in the 1630s and now owned by the Tate Britain, London.

4. THE EXECUTIONER WITH THE JOHN THE BAPTIST'S HEAD: c.1640? The Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool *Image currently unavailable*
5. OLD STONE AND SON: c1640. The names are only suggested, not confirmed, and the attribution to Dobson is sometimes questioned. Private Collection. (Apologies for the poor quality)

6. ABRAHAM VAN DER DOORT: Painted before 1640 - Now held at the State Hermitage Museum.

7. PORTRAIT OF AN UNKNOWN MAN: c.1640-42. The Methuen Collection.

8. SIR THOMAS AYLESBURY (Probably): c1642. National Portrait Gallery, London

9. OFFICER WITH PAGE: Inscribed 1642. Private Collection. Suggestions have been made that the sitter is Sir Thomas Dallison, one of Prince Rupert's regiment of horse.
