Who am I? I am a wife, a mom, a daughter, a homeschooling teacher, a candlemaker, a scout leader, a co-op leader, and most importantly a Christian. I am a woman struggleing to make ends meet in this economy with one income and finding new and fun ways to embrace the women who have gone on before me. I am learning the arts of previous generations ... the art of canning fruits and veggies, the art of cooking from scratch and the continual struggle to be more self sufficient. This is complicated because in my world I am not living on a stretch of land, but in a city row house where I have to make the best use of my space.
I have two wonderful boys who are just now stepping into the teen years. One is 13 and the other is 14 and they are so much fun. I am sure you will understand the challenges of raising young christian men in this generation. I am struggling through, making mistakes from time to time, but thankfully God and my boys are forgiving! My husband is the BEST and I love him dearly! The picture below is from our trip to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty while doing a geneology study! (I love homeschooling)
That is all the facets of my personality that you may find on this page. Check out all of my links and articles... and occasionally I will remember and have time to add to my blogs. I hope something on my page will be of interest and be helpful!
