even though you will never see this
you know who you are
you awakened something in me
something I had longed for but had gievn up on ever finding
you unlocked a secret you did not know
and opened up a world which had been hidden
You wanted something in the past I could not give
in the end it was not ment to be
but I still think of you and will never forget you

JULY 2008
short and sweet, just added a new forum, got fed up with all the crap and fan politics and as I already had this site, decided to add a forum on here. It will be updated daily or almost daily, depending on my schedule in my real life. Hope you all become members and have fun, see you in the forum |

Friday 18 January 2008
oospie , my poor baby, Ive kinda neglected you this past year. Been having fun on myspace and unfortuatly got a bit distracted. My myspace page for anyone whos interested is www.myspace.com/dmoonstreet. Ive been keeping a regualr blog there so Im not going to crap a years diary entry here.
Anyway just thought Id better see how my site was looking and update some stuff Ive been meaning to do for ages. Right now its kinda dead in the online fan world. Last night one of the main MJ forums closed down and everyone is at a bit of a loose end, wondering around cyberworld trying to find a new home. Alot of the members , including me , moved to mjc, but for the last 3 hours THEY are now offline so Ive ended up here!!
anyway have fun here, its mainly just me having a ramble though memories and mj events, dont forget to leave a comment in my guest book |

Yes its the first update of 2007, I know , Im abit behind, but hey better late than never. As you will see from the front page I have made some changes and renamed some pages. Since staring this site I thought I could only add pictures and graphics which were saved on a computer, so up until now I have only made major changes when I visit my parents and can use their computer. Well guess what, this week I am visiting my parents and have been updating BUT I have made a breakthrough. I can upload graphics and photos from photobucket. OMG I feel so dim. Now when I go back to London I can update when ever I like!
Ok since its the end of february Im not going to go back over what Ive been up since November, if you would like to know have a look at http://blog.myspace.com/dmoonstreet
short and sweeet update this time |

Wednesday 22 November
Well Im back online after yet another crazy week with Michael. As usual some things stayed the same and new adventures were shared.
I was a bit aprenhsive about this trip, more so than others in the past. Some fans that I have been close to and travelled to see Michael in the past I am no longer close to. I was a bit nervous incase I let my hurt show but as it turned out I was worrying over nothing. Yes those fans did come to see Michael, but Im glad to say nothing happened between me and them. Even though we have drifted from our friendship I am so happy that they are dont let personal differences get in the way of everyone having a good time and seeing Michael. I am glad that they have the maturity to separate Michael world from personal life and even though we did not have any contact during this trip, both they and me had wonderful Michael memories and experiences. After all thats why we do this in the first place, its our love of Michael that is the most important thing.
ok now that thats off my chest......... deep breath ........ aaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Michael was in London for 6 days and I was there every moment. In a way it was almost like the last 2 years had never happened. Michael arrived in London, made scramble to find his hotel, then the long hours of waiting. Fans become almost like secret agents and information is closly gaurded but thats half the fun. Its soo crazy, one minute you are freezing at the barrier, hunry and needing to pee, the next you are jumping in a taxi , saying follow that car, Michael Jackson is in it!!!
Im not going to tell you everything that happened, otherwise I would be here all day. The major things I did were
1. Be one of the first 20 fans to find the hotel on Monday 13 November
2. Follow Michael in a taxi to Nobu and watch him eating for 1 hour
3. Follow him in a taxi to Topshop
4. See him wave at the hotel window every night
5. Follow him in a taxi and see him leave the susi restaurant on Tuesday 14 November
6. Queue from 2am at Earls Court, be number 26 in the queue and get to the front barrier under the mike stand
7. Be inside the theatre for Mary Poppins, was one of many fans circuling the building, dodging theatre staff, trying to find Michael and not get thrown out of theatre
8. Run with Michaels car from the theatre to Tottenham Court road, though traffic and crowds of passersby wondering what was going on.
9. Stand for 12 hours in the rain outside Michaels hotel, thanks for the pizza Michael
10 See Michael leave London on saturday 18 nov
had a brillant time with old friends and new, stayed on sofa for 2 days dosing myself with flu tablets, family thinks Im crazy!!!!
Well that was last week, now its back to reality, must get a job as funds are running low. |

Tuesday 7 November
Oh my good Lord, being a Michael Jackson sure aint easy!!!! Yesterday started like every onther day since the news of Michael going the WMA's broke. I got up around 8am, switched on the computers and checked my emails and the messageboards. Nothing seemed to be happening so I decided to go to the shops and get some food.
I was back online again at about 1pm, and so the daily routine of hitting refresh every few minutes begain. All was quite for a few hours as we knew the WMA organisers were in a meeting until 3pm. Suddenly at 4pm, things went crazy!!!!
One minute there was nothing, next minute people were posting that the standing tickets were on sale. OMGGGGGGGGG panic stations. It was crazy everyone started ringing the see tickets number at once and of course we jammed the phone lines. I was stood beside the computer with the landline phone in one hand, hitting redail constinly and with the other hand hitting refresh on the messageboard, trying to keep track of what was happening. My dad even tried a few times on his mobile for me. Suddenly while all this was going on my mobile rings. OMG I HAVNT ENOUGH HANDS!!! Im trying to talk to my friend on my mobile, redial see tickets on the landline and hit refresh on the messageboards!!!
I scream Daaddd help, and my Dad takes over on the landline cos now, my heart is thumping cos Ive finally got through to see tickets and been put on hold!!! My poor friend is still on my mobile and she starts telling me to go to www.worldmusicawards.com/tickets. Thats where the compitition for the free tickets is, you have to enter the code and your details and they will email you back instantly to tell you if you won!!!
Holy crap, everythings happening at once, so I enter my details and yikes Iv won a pair of complimenry tickets. Just as Ive won the free tickets, someone starts talking to me at see tickets so I get a discount standing ticket aswell. As soon as Ive won the free tickets I post the infomation online so that everyone else can have a chance at the compititon.
As soon as the panic dies down, I realise that I now have 3 tickets so I decide to give my friends who didnt get any tickets which ever ones I wont be using.
About 2 hours after the ticket panic we start getting word from the WMA organisers that the compition wasnt ment to happen that way. Someone leaked the information before the official time. That ment the information was passed by fans though word of mouth only and not though the fanclubs as was originally stated. All the free tickets that were won tonight are now void and a new compitition will be launced officially on Wednesday.
I am soo glad I bought a ticket as backup, even though I am disapointed about the free tickets, it means that no matter what happens on Wednesday I can still get into the building and see Michael. Of course though I will see try to get a free ticket cos Im sure that when I get to London, someone will need a ticket!!
Thats all for now, Im back to the boards to see how everyone is today |

AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Michael will be in London on No 15. News broke last weekend, first with rumours and then official confirmation. On Nov 15 the World Music Aawrds are being held in Earls Court London and Michael is getting the Diamond Award, in recognition of sales over 100 million. Tickets are on sale at ticketmaster but for only the blocks at the back. Standing tickets will become availble near the time.
I have booked my flight to London for Nov 11 and all this week I have been online trying to find somewhere to stay until Christmas. Its soo funny, everyone on the messageboards have become hermits, hunched over their computers, constitly hitting refresh, desprite for any new information about tickets.
My parents have been on holidays this week so I have been house sitting. Last weekend I finally moved out of my flat and gave back the keys. All my stuff was in boxes and bags in my parents dining room, waiting to be sorted. I couldnt really unpack until I had cleaned and tidied my room. For the last 10 years I have been sending stuff back to my parents whenever I moved and I have never really been able to sort it properly. Thats what I have been doing this week, sorting and throwing out stuff that I havent used in years.
Yesterday I was finally able to put away the stuff I had at my flat and I can actually find my clothes again!! My parents are due back later today and then I have 1 week until I hit London.
I had planned on finding a job as soon as I got to London, but a certain Mr Jackson decided to come to London that week too. Now it means my first week in London will be spent standing outside a five star hotel in the freezing cold and quite possiblly rain. Oh the joys of being an MJ fan!! There are other Irish fans going but I probably wont see much of them as they are only going for the show. Alot of the Irish fans dont seem interesed in doing the hotel thing, even though its soo much fun, meeting all the other fans and getting to see and maybe even meet Michael. |

Why is it that when you decide to do something, it never really turns out the way you expected??? As you know by now I was away for 2 weeks, on a bus tour around Europe. I got back to Ireland at the weekend and yesterday after a few days rest I came home to see my parents. When in my parents house I had planeed to tidy my room in preparation for leaving my flat and just to spend some time with my parents. Well thats what I thought I was going to do but then when I came online last night, I discovered a few things....... 1. Michael has been a busy bee, he has found a recording studio that suits him, has flown Will.I.AM from Black Eyed Peas to Ireland and and is now busy working on some songs that could possibly lead to a new album. Over the last weekend he also allowed a journalist from Acess Hollywood to spend some time with him in the studio and this guy wote about his time with Michael in his online blog. Well as you can imagine, the fans are going crazy, finally some positive reporting and the guy actually seems ok. Not only that , he let a few hints out about the location of the studio, and the fans, doing what we do best , within hours had found the location of the studio. Well as soon as I saw all this, I started doing some searching myself and found that I could easliy travel there by train.
So thats what I did today. I got up and headed to the main train station to catch the 11.20 train to Clara, as the instructions on the studios website said. Just my luck it was what my grandfather used to call a "nice soft day" ie pouring rain!!! When I got to Clara I started walking and walking and walking. I walked for nearly 2 hours in the rain, along narrow country roads with no footpaths, dodging the potholes, which were filled with rain!!In the end I decided to get the train back to Dublin. Although I didnt find any sign of the studio, Im glad I went. At least now I know the area where the studio is and maybe tomorrow or the next day depending on the weather I will take another trip, but this time I will explore a different part of the area, as I know I was heading in the general direction of the studio.
My parents, especially my Dad thinks Im crazy, but that dosnt bother me, they know I wont do anything stupid or dangerous, and its all just one big adventure. |

Monday 7 August
weeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh omg soo much has happened since Ive been here last. Well then I suppose Id better start at the top. Ive joined a gym!! Yes I know its crazy but since Ive been back in Dublin Ive just kinda slobbed out and some of the clothes I wore last year in scotland dont fit me so I decided Id better do something. I ve never been to a gym before Ive always done dance classes so I was a bit nervous at first . One of the reasons I decide to join this gym is that when I booked a tour, I really liked the look of the gym and I didnt get that stale sweaty smell when I was walking around with one of the trainers. The machines are also really easy to use, on my first visit I had an induction with one of the trainers who set out a programme for me. When you enter the gym you log on at one of the computer terminals and then when you do your programme all the information eg time you spent etc is automatically added to your profile. Then when you finish you log out. It also means you cant cheat, and say you did 20 mins on the treadmill when you only did 10 cos the machines are all linked to the central terminal.
Next big news is that it sems that things are getting serious with my sister and her boyfriend. I told you before that she went to New Zealand for a month to see him. Well the week after she came back to London he arrived in London and is now staying with her for six months. In september she is going to spent a week with him and his family. Then after Christmas she is going back to New Zealand with him. I think my parents are still in shcok but they are getting used to the idea that this may be THE ONE. I really hope things work out for her as over the last few years she has had some hard times.
Wheich brings me to my next news. As you know I have not really been happy with my job in Dublin. Well as my sister is going to New Zealand after Christmas, she is going to have to rent the flat she bought last year. It is just perfect timing for me. I have decide I am going to leave my job and Dublin and rent my sisters flat while she is away. It also means that I wont have to pay a deposit which is such a pain when you sign a lease on a flat. This way I have somewhere nice to live and she knows that her flat is safe.
So here are my plans for the next few months. Today I booked a bus tour around Europe for the end of Sept, beginning of Oct. I havent really been anywhere this year except for New York for my birthday, and Ive always wanted to travel around Europe. I saw this tour in a brochure in Usit one day and knew it would be perfect for me. I will tell you all about it next time. The tour starts on 30 Sept in London which means I have to finish work on friday 29 september and fly to London that night. The tour returns to London on 11 oct and I will stay with my sister for a few days and then return to Dublin around 13 oct. The lease on my flat is up on 1 nov , so that gives me about 2 weeks to pack up my flat and sort myself out. At the start of November I then plan to return to London, stay in a hostel and try to find a job. By the middle of Nov I will know if I can earn enough to take my sisters flat while she is away. After that I dont know whats next, as I have found that everything happens for a reasons and sometimes it is better not to plan too far ahead.
I have also set up a new site at www.myspace.com/dmoonstreet please visit and leave a comment, thanks |
