Stephen Davis, 53, of 180 Wilson Ave., Martinsville, died Tuesday, June 13,
2006, at his home.
He was born in Henry County March 16, 1953 to Harvey Wilson Davis and Frances
Jewell Davis. He worked for Carlisle School for 16 years and was owner/operator
of Community Auto Sales of Ridgeway for over 20 years. He attended the
Martinsville Church of Truth.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; a brother, Jeremiah Davis, Ridgeway and two
nieces.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, June 16 at the Martinsville
Church of Truth. Rev. William Preskitt will officiate. Burial will be in the
Horsepasture Christian Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Martinsville
Church of Truth and at other times at his mother's home at 180 Wilson Ave.,
Martinsville.
Flowers will be accepted and memorials may be made to the Martinsville Church of
Truth Building Fund, 1376 Joseph Martin Hwy., Martinsville, Va. 24112.
Community Funeral Services, Ridgeway, is in charge of arrangements.
