Bobby Lee DillardBobby Dillard

Bobby Lee Dillard, 50, of 80 Parkway Drive, Martinsville, died Wednesday, September 3, 2003, at Danville Regional Medical Center.

Born March 4, 1953, in Henry County, he was a son of the late William Isaac Dillard and the late Gracie Broadnax Dillard. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Gracie Juanita Jones, and a brother, Donald Dillard.

He was a disabled textile worker and was a member of Deliverance and New Light Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Leigh Angelique Dillard of the home; one son, Isaac C. Dillard of the home; five sisters, Mabel Giles of Axton, Shirley Waller, Gay Dianne Martin and Phyllis Christine Penn, all of Ridgeway, and Clara Blackstock of Eden, N.C.; four brothers, William Edward Dillard and Curtis Dillard, both of Ridgeway, James Dillard of Reidsville, N.C., and Paul N. Dillard of Martinsville; and two grandchildren.

Bobby DillardThe funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at Mayo Missionary Baptist Church in Ridgeway with the Rev. Troy A. Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in the Dillard family cemetery in Ridgeway. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until time for the funeral Saturday at the church.

Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, 511 Henry St., Eden, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.
