Our Mission
"DMB Online Ministry"
in conjunction with our Christian Prayer Ministry from Nashville, Tn
We love sharing the "Word of God" and offer praises for what the Lord is doing in our lives. In Gal 6:2,3 it tells us to carry each other's burdens and in this way you have fulfilled the law of Christ!!! We use the internet to accomplish this. We offer encouragement, hope, and scriptures to guide you in your walk of faith. We also take your prayer requests. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe during these times of unrest. May He give you the desires of your heart. In Christ's Ministry, Rev. D. M. Barry, or ufofc_minister (U.S. Army Retired)

Serving God in 2008
Prov 11:30 "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise."
Dan 12:3 "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever."
Regardless of the level of our gifts and abilities, God expects us to invest ourselves boldly for his glory. So this New Year let us consider serving Him in ministry. Some of you are already in ministry and we thank God for that, but each one of us can serve the Lord. We do not need a degree or a title to serve God, we just need the desire. You may be surprised to know that the word "minister" or "ministry" has in its root form in Greek the term for "service" or "to serve." Remember our Lord Himself "did not come to be served, but to serve," Mark 10:45.
Isaiah 61: 1-3 tells us that:
1 "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, To give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified".
Ministry is understanding people's deepest needs, and concerns it's showing them how & why Jesus cares, and how He will provide for them. Ministry is the outcome of our personal relationships with the Lord. It is sharing the beauty of God. It's almost impossible to see a rainbow and not point it out to someone else. It's the kind of thing that just must be shared. You see one and you want to tell someone about it. If you are by yourself and see one, it's frustrating. The gospel is such a beautiful expression of God's love that it just must be shared.
We minister by relating personally to those around us, we minister by sharing our experiences:
"How with a corrupt cancerous nature, we have a new life."
"How in our Weakness Jesus brought us strength."
"How in our Pain we brought us comfort, peace."
"How in our Loneliness he brought his presence"
"How in our guilt and shame he brought reconciliation"
"How in our sin He brought forgiveness" "How we were condemned to die, now how we have salvation."
God defines success in ministry as being faithful, serving others, loving and trusting Him, praying, pursuing holiness, and developing a positive attitude. Ministry is doing what you can. When we are obedient to God's word, it prepares us for life's challenges, problems, and possibilities. As we carry out our ministry Jesus enriches the personal life of his people. Ministry energizes, contrary to the great fear that resources will be depleted if we help others.
My Personal Testimony
Matt 27:32 "As they were coming out, they found a man of Cyrene named Simon, whom they pressed into Service to bear His cross."
I was born in Norwalk, CT and was raised a Roman Catholic. I joined the military in June of 68 right after high school. After attending an Assemblies of God Church, I became born-again (John 3:3) Dec 84 and filled with the spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues during prayer (l Corinthians 14:2) Jun 85. I began pouring through the word of God book by book through study courses from the Assemblies of God "Berean School of the Bible", Global University, Springfield, MO. The main reason for my ministry is that I had to deal with some personal issues such as depression and anger and wanted to share the following:
All through my life I have known I "carried a cross"!! The stations of the cross at Easter time enforced that belief. What I did not realize was that it was scriptural. As I accepted the Lord as my personal savior in 84, my mentor Jerry O. showed it to me.... Our Lord Jesus was unable to carry His cross alone. As the Roman soldiers and Jesus were on their way to the execution grounds, they had Simon, from Cyrene (in Africa) carry Jesus' cross because Jesus just couldn't make it anymore. Matthew 27:32
David Wilkerson, in his book, "Have You Felt Like Giving Up Lately?" states that when the Lord asked us to pick up the cross and follow Him, He did not expect us to do it on our own strength. Joyce Meyers reaffirmed that on her daily telecast by saying that we cannot walk away from our sins alone. We are unable to conquer our sins, especially what David Wilkerson calls our "besetting sins" (those sins that we continually, even habitually do) by ourselves. We realize that we need Jesus.
That is grace. That is mercy. That is also a big relief to me. I have been tormenting myself about a besetting sin, fretting that I would not be able to do the right thing the next time the same situation arose. I asked the Lord and myself why I was such a failure at crucifying the flesh. I wondered how other people did it and why I couldn't. I've been a Christian for 19 years, surely I'm capable of taking up the cross and crucifying the flesh. Yet, when the situation arose just recently, I fell. Now I was beginning to wonder why I continually fell and was far too anxious about the future.
I cried out like Paul, "Why do I do that which I don't want to do and don't do what I want to do?" You see, I had taken my burdens and my sin to the cross but I didn't leave it there. I wore it around like a monkey on my back and I didn't believe the gospel. I didn't believe that not only was I forgiven but that I could truly give it to the Lord and forget about it. I asked Him to help me to conquer this besetting sin the next time but I forgot that "His strength was made perfect in my weakness." The Lord was going to help me get through it the next time and the next. I accepted that I would not reach perfection until I obtained my glorified body in heaven.
This is not an excuse to continue to sin but a message of grace and the power of Jesus Christ to change lives. Our role is to submit to Jesus and continue to ask and expect Him to help us carry the cross. We can't do it ourselves; we are not capable. When will we learn to be completely dependent on Jesus? When will I learn that there are so many things I can't do myself?
I know that with God anything is possible. I know that He is interested in everything about us. I know that He loves us and wants what is best for us. I know that He is a God who answers prayer and is all-compassionate, all-merciful and all-loving. But, the truth of the matter is that I worry about the future. I worry about my bills. I worry about my life. I worry that God is going to punish me or that He's going to let me suffer the consequences of my sin. Now that sometimes happens, but I start thinking of catastrophic punishments all out of proportion to the sin. Now, I tell you, is that trusting God?
Just recently the Lord gave me a great example of His providence and His plan. I had to file for bankruptcy, I lost control of my finances. Bills were so overwhelming that even after two years of paying on credit card debts, the balances remained the same (even without using them). And in one case the ending balance increased because of the interest charges. But with prayer and counsel I had to give the ENTIRE situation to God to include my pride. I had to remember, God is in control. I had to give it all to Him.
In essence when you think you've had a lot of losses, He is in control and He will restore them to you. Although you don't see it, everything you've lost is still right there waiting for you. But even Jesus couldn't do miracles in His hometown because of unbelief. Let Jesus do the impossible for you. Let Him carry your cross. Believe that He is right there and He's never going to let you down. Rev. D.M. Barry, D.D. or ufofc_minister (U.S. Army Retired).

Prayer Warriors Needed
“Praying ALWAYS with ALL prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with ALL perseverance and supplication for ALL saints”; Ephesians 6:18
Note the words prayer AND supplication. The word prayer comes from a more general word for praying. It speaks of the necessity of always being in an attitude of prayer, of having a consistent prayer life (and how essential that is). But then the word supplication comes from a Greek term which relates to special times of need. If Christians truly practice prayer as a way of life, then when the special times of need come along they will be prepared for them to make supplication (URGENT REQUEST) before God, and see Him move into the situation. Oh, the priority of prayer. Calling out on God in the battle. The time is for revival for the past 2000 years since Jesus ascended into Heaven and filled His church with the Holy Spirit! He only awaits a people who will cry out to Him in prayer and supplication, and surrender their whole lives before Him.
We see where the POWER of prayer lies in that phrase: IN THE SPIRIT. Praying always with all prayer and supplication IN THE SPIRIT. If you have a K.J.V. bible you will notice that Spirit has a capital S. It is speaking of the Holy Spirit. Powerful praying is praying in the Holy Ghost!
If we develop a sensitivity, the Holy Spirit will lead us WHILE we are praying. He will put a burden upon you for someone, some situation, and have you pray it through. That is praying in the Spirit. We become partners with Him in His plan and purpose. And the promise of 1 JOHN 5:14 is that ... if we ask ANYTHING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, He heareth us. So, if the Holy Spirit leads you to prayer for some matter, then it is the will of God, and THAT prayer WILL be answered.
Oh, how we need some people who will PERSEVERE in prayer in our Yahoo christian groups!!! Who will make prayer the great PRIORITY that it deserves to be, and to pray with POWER energized by the Holy Spirit. If you are hungry for more of God, will you come and pray for those in our group as there are so many needs? Feel free to post your prayers or to email the requester to let them know that in fact you are praying for their needs. I know that you will be blessed as well!!

A clip of the message I gave concerning The Pruning Process October 8, 2006
Defination of Prune: to trim or cut superflouous branches or parts to improve growth, appearance etc; to cut off, to strip off; remove,to lose
Why does Jesus prune every branch that bears fruit? John 15:2: 2He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
