DMAC-N-ME FARM!!!Here at Dmac-n-Me Farm we have been in love with Miniature Potbellied Pigs for a number of years now. We would like to share our fondness of them with everyone who would like to learn more about the breed. If you are interested in becoming a Miniature Potbellied pig owner, you are in for a very fun & interesting ride!
As a child I grew up on a farm and helped raise just about every breed of livestock that you can think of. My family became interested in Miniature Potbellied Pigs in the late 1980's and it was love at first sight for me. One of those piggy girls is still rambling around my fathers farm!!
After getting married I learned that my husband was allergic to anything on four legs, or so we thought. After telling him all about our sweet piggies on the farm, he was on a mission. We went on a relentless search for the right breeder, and the right piggy for us. The plan of course, was to get one piglet as a pet, but when we saw all of those babies we couldn't resist! That night, after a very long roadtrip, we brought home our babies, Elvis and Priscilla. Since then we have added to our PBP family We have four PBPs who rotate indoors and outdoors. All of our piggies are house trained & well socialized from birth. All of our pigs are our pet. We are not a large breeding operation, we have only 3 pigs so that we can give them all the attention that they deserve. 2 of our females are active breeders so that means that we only have a handful of these darlings available each year. Potbellied pigs are not the right pet for everyone. They are absolutely adorable when babies and if properly trained they are a wonderful pet who will be with you up to 20 years.
