Visits to other lines

Butterly garden railway

The butterly garden railway is at the midland railway center a short walk from the station. This layout has two circuits, the top one is faily level and is a basic loop. The lower loop is more extensive with two stations and its own steam up bays.

Bole hill railway

This line is a very long one that has a dog bone loop at each end of a main line that climbs about 6 feet from one end to the other. This is a very challenging line to drive on with steam. It isn't to bad on the way up but coming down is where the fun starts.
