The original and the best M3 is the E30, seen on the right. It may have been two cylinders short of a proper engine, but it was designed for a purpose; that purpose being winning touring car races, whereas on the left is what passes for an M3 nowadays, which unfortunately is only a toy for overpaid townies. Look at those doors... it's distantly related to my awesome Omega, albeit with twice the cylinders, a supercharger and getting on three times the horsepower.
