The Judist Still crazy after all these years.
The biggest news amongst followers of djimipaij.webs.com is that the couple that are The Moowah and Rob will be going to South Korea at the end of this year to teach English for about a year. I have indeed warned old Moowah that it would be a good idea to learn English properly before embarking on such an adventure. I was told to 'shut it', haha.I've never been there and never had any huge plans to do so. South Korea is officially called Republic of Korea, and it's a democratic nation. Democracy of course = watered down dictatorship. Just like here. The population is c.48m, the capital city is Seoul, the language is Korean, the currency is the "won" and they drive on the right, aka the correct side.Reports of my return to the inhumane world of work have been grossly exaggerated. Those who are there, I have no idea how you put up with it. Myself and several others are 'working' on making sure that in the future, no-one will have to waste their lives working. Imagine all the people living for the world...In the meantime, if you are on the chain-gang, you need to know that it is your moral duty to phne in sick whenever the hell you want. Click on the below picture to unprogram your mind from feeling guilt about this. My favourite quote:"If you won’t phone in sick because you suffer from a guilty conscience about “dishonesty”, we suggest the following: Imagine, vividly, how you feel at work on a typical Monday morning. That should make you feel queasy. By dictionary definition, “queasy” means ill. Therefore it’s your duty to phone in sick. If you don’t feel queasy at the thought of Monday morning, then by definition you are mentally ill – you might want to consider spending a few years in a nursing home."
I was informed last week by a Colonel-a-like that the movie The Matrix was being shown on the telly. I did tune in to watch it. After a decade since the first time I saw it, it's just as awesome. And even more autobiographical. Mr Thomas Anderson aka Neo has a boring office job. Yep, been there. Then there's the bit where he oversleeps to way past 9am. Surely no-one else you know except me has been woken up by a work senior phoning you to ask where you are? Didn't think so! And then there he was being told by his droid-like boss to start arriving on time. Got the t-shirt! I've not been accompanied as such to a police station, but I've had the questioning. Luckily for me there was no 'gestapo crap' as he put it.As I was saying before, The Matrix is analogous to how we our living our lives at present. I've been researching this for about eight months now. As the dialogue between Morpheus and Neo goesMorpheus: The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.Neo: What truth?Morpheus: That you are a slave, Neo.On one level there is the nature of our reality - The Matrix - unlike the film this is not a computer simulation (well that is actually possible but not very likely, from what I understand). To understand that, first we must understand the level below that, The System. When you were younger you could feel your innocence slip away as The System started to encroach and infiltrate your mind. Your first major awareness of it might well have been when 'choosing' and studying for your first exams of note. Most probably willingly accepted its inevatibilty, for others like myself it irked you ever so slightly. Then you grew up and then you got really enveloped in it all. Jobs, money, credit, taxes, mortgages, the law etc... so much to take in that you couldn't see the forest for your cuffs, ball and chains. So why is there so much suffering in the world? If you paid attention at school, the answer is that it's just the way it is, resulting from supply and demand, and economics, environment and conflicts blah blah. WRONG! The needless suffering, poverty and death are there by design. And it doesn't stop there. The education system is there to stop you from learning the real truth, the health industries are there to stop you getting well (for reasons of profit and the former) and our science is there to stop mankind-aiding discoveries from being made public (similar reasons) as well as for scheming new evil ways of achieving the above (flouride anyone?). Their plan is to forge ahead with gaining almost complete control over us, hence the CCTV everywhere, phone and email tapping and the ID card agenda. Next they will want the microchip in us all.No way you might be thinking. How could they do that? Who is it, and why?It is an elite few with the real wealth and power who remain out of the forefront of the public eye, of course. Those 'rich lists' where people like Bill Gates are top - complete nonsense! Humans are inherently good. Only when manipulated do the terrible things in our world happen. But who does the manipulating? These (relative to the population) few are simply not like us!!!I can only show you the door, you have to walk through it. If you want to know more, I would suggest clicking a pic below in order from left to right. This should help explain the lyrics of the new Muse song if you didn't know what it was about... they are correct - we will win! And by you understanding all this you are actively contributing to your own liberation. "So come on!"The Matrix Reloaded is on tonight, will be nice to watch that again.
In the early part of this year Fountains of Wayne have been doing an acoustic tour of the US. This is set to continue in Sep. A new album is supposed to be out by the end of this year or the start of next, which by their standards is practically a rushed release. The above is a great capture of not one but two songs done live. Cemetery Guns is a great new song that should be on the new album. It's almost political which is a new thing for them. It's way better than that Green Day song about twenty-one guns. I hope the record version keeps the military style drum rolls. When it's someone's turn on the piano, in this case Adam, they get called the names of famous pianists, that's why you can hear "Ben Folds" and "Tori Amos" (the new album is not quite connecting with me. The first three tracks are super though). The second song is a classic from their second album Utopia Parkway, called Troubled Times, a fan favourite. It was recently covered quite well by Dar Williams. It's worth checking out her album, I was going to buy it. In the meantime Tinted Windows are touring the US as well. Adam's in this band with Taylor Hanson, James Iha and Bun E. Carlos. Below is a funny drummer-less performance of Kind of a Girl where they have a comedy attempt at wrecking the furniture. I know what you're all thinking - what guitar is Mr Schlesinger he playing? The answer is a Vaccaro Astrolite. I would consider getting one. It might be quite reliable... woah-woah. Woe.
