Personally, I think it's annoying as hell when I'm trying to read someone's webpage and they've got some piece of shit midi file playing the background. It's dstracting and it's always some annoying, dated song, and (more often than not) one I didn't like when it was still popular.
So when I saw this site had a gigantic library of midi files for my use, I cringed.
But then, I got to playing with the files, amused by how much of a horrid bastardization they were of the originals. And thus I got to thinking, why not have some fun with this?
This is like that game where they play the song and you have to guess what it is. Except the song is of far shittier quality without lyrics and therefore somewhat harder to recognize. But if you know it, hell, drop me a line. If you get both the artist and title, I'll stick your name up on the list of people who know their stuff.
