well...my best friend died friday, my dog.
and i'm using the lotr as comfort food. which has inspired me to work more on that series i started. quite a few more characters to go. this also means more lotr icons for those who enjoy them.
also, since i'm here...1 animated xena icon(gabby's sexy dance from who's gurkhan) and 5 kristen stewart icons. 2 lotr wallpapers, the death of boromir and the test of galadriel. and i uploaded that award.
also, anyone know of a good way to have my icons up and be able to later on add images in the middle without having to redo/move coding? cuz i'm a little anal about order and like to group icons within a group and i'm now using just a simple table code and whenever i add icons to the middle i have to go through and move all the tr and td code pieces. not the end of the world, but there's bound to be a better way to do it.

wow...been a while since i added anything. to be fair, i don't have much to add. been kinda lax in the art dept lately. i do have an animated icon lying around, but i'd rather save that til i have a few more at least. i may have an award to add too, can't remember if i uploaded it already or not...but mostly, i feel like i need to completely redo my site. not just a new header and color scheme, i mean a complete redo of the layout. which would require me to learn a lot of new coding and figure out exactly what i want. and what kind of header i want. and the massive amount of work involved in this process has been putting me off. i just updated to the newest version of gimp the other night though. but i've been spending my time on audio projects lately. i do have work to do on my lotr series though...ahhh so much work, not enough time.

legolas~~part of my apparent new lotr series. apparently there are no passages describing legolas in the lotr except from the council of elrond saying he was "strange" and clad in green and brown.
kate moennig~~this has been sitting on my computer for months because i could not figure out what to do with the coloring. finally figured it out. think it turned out pretty well.
arwen~~another lotr wall. this one i am very proud of because the bg texture i had to make myself. the other lotr ones i used nikki's textures. but on this one she had nothing that fit. so i made one myself and i'm very happy with how it came out.

super quick, mini update to post a galadriel wallpaper. when i first saw nikki's texture my first thought was lothlorien. and when i made the eowyn piece i knew i wanted to do a galadriel one. the quote is from the book, though slightly editted to refer only to galadriel(the text in the book is talking about galadriel and celeborn and therefore is in plural). i think it compliments the eowyn wall magnificently. i do have one more idea to add, but that will take a lil bit longer to figure out. i just wanted to get this one wall up.

can't be heard~~done for the challenge at bite me. i'm actually pretty happy with this one. more beautiful sarah mclachlan lyrics, and i really like how it all came out.
the good german~~done for the challenge at reflective desires. i love this one. i LOVE the noiry pix, i love the way the textures blended, and i love the fact that i finally got to use josh's shiny eye effect.:D

eowyn is my favorite character from lotr, and this has always been one of my favorite passages. it really exemplifies eowyn; her strength and beauty, the way she appears both strong and fragile.
