Welcome one and all, to the Divine Tabernacle Ministry website. My name is Delroy Mc Kenzie and I am currently studying to become an ordained Minister.

A little about me; I have lived in Canada most of my adult life, however I believe God has brought me back to Jamaica to spread the word of the Gospel and help the people of my birth country. The main focus of my Ministry is to help people in Jamiaca recieve the word of God, primarily, children and families. Below is an outline of what I intend to do by the will of our Lord and the Saviour, Jesus Christ.

• Children's outreach .....Jamiaca's streets and neighbourhoods are fillled with abandoned and abused children, I would like to create a place where these children can come for love and support, counselling, and sadly, even the basic neccessities of life. (food, clothing, shelter)
• Center for abused Women and Children...There is no social welfare in Jamaica, often, abused women and children must stay in dangerous situations because they simply have no where else to go. I would like to give them a safe place with available counselling.
• Drug and alcohol counselling...This is a much needed service in Jamaica. I would like to implement some of the twelve step programs into my church, to aide, counsell and support not only the addict/alcoholic but his family as well.
• Family/Marriage counselling.... In a mostly Matriarcly (families raised by mothers) society, helping to keep families together is important, the communities of Jamaica are in need of this valuable assistance.
• Ladies Fellowship....Sending women of our Church into the community to minister/counsell women in the community, on womens issues.
• Youth group...The youth of Jamaica are most at risk, lets give them something to do, let the love of God and community in their hearts, a youth group promotes a self respect, self worth and self discipline.
