The attraction has more then 50,000 lights on its exterior with more then 25,000 feet of electrical cable to supply the lights for the Holiday season. The mall area of its a Small World is even decorated for christmas with 150,000 lights twinkling through-out the night. Its a Small World Holiday even features a light show every quarter hour after dusk. The attraction isn't just changed outside, its changed inside as well. Take a trip around the world as each country shows you there Holiday celebrations. The its a small world song is also mixed together with holiday favorites like jingle bells. its a Small World Holiday is a must do on your christmas list. its a Small World Holiday is an extreamly popular event at Disneyland, day or night. Main tip, DON"T LET THE LINE SCARE YOU! The line may look long but may only be 20-30 min. These boats are loaded and launched in 30 -45 seconds during this season. (We timed them) If you have any small children, this ride is perfect. The bright colors and the twinkling lights captivate kids from the time it starts to the time it ends; and don't be surprised if they want to go on it agian. There is no Fastpasses for this ride anymore, even during the Holiday season. We also recommend that you see the ride at night, since the attraction will be sparkling with thousands of lights. You may even catch the light show that is played. The its a small world area, otherwise known as the its a small world mall, is not generally crowded unless it is near show time for the fireworks show but still be sure to hang onto your kids hands and always have a meeting place if your kids get lost.
