As you all know hideki kawakami of disclose passed away in the 5 of june in 2007, due to an unfortunuate mix of sleeping pills and vodka,found by his girlfriend.It was NOT a suicide, he being an insomniac it wasnt anything unusual about the pills i suppose, just another case of shit out of luck.. the mix was just to much for him to take.

ive heard that some people broke into his house and stole all his stuff a few days after his death, fucking assholes!

anyway, ive been into this band since 1995-1996 sometime, i got all the the studio recordings at that time with disclose on a tape which ka-kami recorded for me, i was fuckin amazed by it i mean i had been into rawpunk for a few years at the time but the tragedy lp and everything fucking blew me away..i was  buying records of disclose from him that he wrote to me about in his letters ,(we letterexchanged some at his time) and his letters was always full of humour and  his love of swedish hardcore was abvious in them usually ending them with something like "disclose loves swedish hardcore!" ha!. In 1999 i did an interview for my fanzine inaktuellt with kawakami 0f all the interviews of the 2 issue zine the disclose interview was he best! the zine was free and i gave all the copies away..in the end i only have the first issue of the zine left for my own,..but dont worry i got his handwritten answers and every letter he wrote  for that matter still saved! he later didnt recall the interview but he remember the zine name coz it was hard to pronounce,... ha!

At the age of 36 kawakami was the greatest hero of d-beat and far from what they sometimes defined themself as "totally untalented" fucking disbones solostuff is the best ive ever heard, and i dont generally give a fuck about solos in rawpunk unless its the "panicsolo"..

My last contact with kawakami was about 6 months before his passing, i got stickers as a gift from him and i BOUGHT records which i sold in  my distro at the time, fucking only records i ever bought to the distro everything else i got in trades, he wrote to me that they wanted to play europe but it costed to much to get here, they couldnt sometimes even afford to go outside their city to play because of the highways fees there being to high..

.. still everytime i listen to disclose it blows me the fuck away!
