The Digivices are an important tool for all the Digidestined. Each member of the team has one and each one is colored differently.

The Digivices cannot be used by anyone except the original Digidestined who owns it. In the owner's hands they can be used for many things, the most obvious being Digivolution. A partner Digimon's digivolution to the next level must be triggered by the Digivice in order for it to be successful. Aside from that, the Digivices can also be used for communicating between group members, looking up information on Digimon the owner has already seen and they make very handy flashlights in the dark. There are also many more things that will be revealed about them as the story goes on.

Each Digidestined's Digivice has it's own color. The screen shows information and messages and the arrow buttons are used to scroll through info on the screen. The black button on the top acts as the enter button would on a keyboard for a computer. On the back of each one is a plastic clip and on the side is a keychain. On the left side of each Digivice is a small slit. (Its purpose will be revealed later)
