Abrir una página web solamente para promover mi trabajo, o para conseguir nuevos trabajos como traductora, no me parece, pese a todo, motivo suficiente. Si algún visitante se ha tomado el tiempo y la molestia de pasar por aquí, espero poder compartir algo más interesante. No puedo ofrecer más que mi propio trabajo en esta página, así que por  lo pronto incluyo algunos textos que quizá quieran leer.

Aclaro que lo que he escrito originalmente en español aparece en ese idioma, y lo mismo sucede con lo que he escrito en inglés. Esto no aparecerá en versión bilingüe, porque en lugar de traducirme a mí misma, me parece mucho más fructífero seguir escribiendo.

To start a webpage just in order to promote my work, or in order to get new translation jobs, I still think is not a good enough reason. If any visitor at all has taken the time and trouble to come this way, I hope I can share something a bit more interesting. I can’t offer more than my own work in this page, so for the moment I include some texts that you might want to read.

        I should make clear that what I have written originally in Spanish is shown here in that language, and the same can be said about what I’ve written in English. These texts won’t appear in a bilingual version, mainly because I think that it’s much more fruitful to keep on writing than to translate myself.
