Dupe items - This only works in open battle-net. Go to your Diablo
2 save folder. This is where You installed diablo 2. The default
is C:\Program Files\Diablo II\save. Then highlight all 8 files that have
the name of your character (like charname.map, supersorc.map2, etc.).
Right click and copy them. Then make a new folder somewhere and paste them.
Now ask a friend or someone else to start a passworded game. If you can't
get anyone to do it then just go in some game. Drop the stuff you want to dupe.
Drop them somewhere where nobody is going to pick them up. Then quit from
the game. Quit from diablo or press ALT+Tab to minimize it. Then go to
the folder to where you pasted the files. Highlight them and copy them.
Then paste them back into the diablo 2 save directory. When it asks to over write
the files, press yes to all. By doing this you will have all the items you
had when you copied the files. Now go to the same game and pick up your items.
Now you have a copy of them. If it doesn't work because the host left or something
dont worry you wont lose anything.
Mr. Nice guy - Not really a trick but oh well. Back up your files like in the duping trick. Now you can give newbs your stuff then paste the files back into the diablo 2 save directory and you'll still have it and so will they.
Infinite town portals - If you hack you probobly dont care about this. All you gotta do is open a portal then if you use it only to get to town and not out of town you can use it forever unless you use it to get out of town. This is also usefull because other people in your party can use it forever both ways. So if you and your friend who is in your party open a town portal side by side and you use your friend's and he or she uses yours you can have infinite two way portals.
Revenge - Not really a trick either. If someone just killed you and doesn't want to duel anymore you can still get revenge. Go to some waypoint, not close but not far (like dark wood, or outer cloister). Then wait a few minutes there and stay on the waypoint. After a few minutes say that you dropped all your items in where ever you are. When they get there kill them. If it doesn't work because your enemy is smarter than that then just say that you dropped your items south or the waypoint and put your armor, weapons, shields, and helm into your inventory. Also dont be hostile to them. As soon as they go through the waypoint go to town put on your stuff make them hostile and go back through and kill them.
Colored wirt's leg - Put a perfect gem into wirt's leg and it will become the color of the gem (black for skull, white for diamond, etc.) Its easy to scam people like this but please dont.
Weak to strong - Another one thats not really a trick. Open jamella. Take some sucky looking stuff (short sword, dagger, leather armor, etc.) and put it on. Make 2 of each. For the ones you have on, make them the best you can so you're really strong. Then ask someone to duel and if they want to see your stuff show them the other sucky version. When they lose and want to see your stuff again do the same thing.
Super sorceress - Not only for sorceresses. When making your weapon in Jamella add an atribute that does 'chance to cast spell on attack'. Choose any spell you want to use and put the percent up to 127% so you cast every time. Use spells that help your weapon. Like if your using a sword use sword mastery. Or if you're using a bow use guided arrow, magic arrow, and all of those. It doesn't matter if you use amazon skills and you're not an amazon, or some other character. Don't put lots of spells together, put something in between them because then sometimes a bug occurs and it turns them all into 1 spell.
