A paired dove release symbolizes the reuniting of a loved one with a
previously deceased spouse. A dove is held by a family member at
the graveside. Just prior to its release, another dove representing the
deceased spouse is released from a different location. It ascends,
circles, and is then joined by the dove released at the graveside.
Together they soar off to their place of peace.
In this time of so much terrorism in our world, a dove release can represent Hope, Peace and New Beginnings; even a show of support for our troops.
When the time has come for someone we love to make that inevitable journey up to the heavens, we are left with only our memories to carry us through. Memories of tears, dreams, smiles and love. Veterans Release Package- 25 Doves
Following the playing of taps* or after a moment of silence, 21 doves are released for a final blessing to those who have served our country or community. Followed by the Spirit Dove and then the Trinity. This 21 dove release is ONLY available for those who have served in the military or Policemen and Firemen as they deserve this special farewell.
