Spirit Dove – A Single Dove Release
As a closing to the graveside ceremony, a single White Dove is released in memory of the dearly departed. This represents a quiet moment of reflection and a sense of enlightenment that the soul has lifted and become free to begin its heavenly journey home. The Spirit Dove may be released by a family member.
Trinity - 4 Doves
Three doves, symbolic of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, ascend heavenward. Then a fourth dove is released, representing the spirit of your loved one. The four then join together, circling over the cemetery, before departing toward the horizon on their spiritual flight homeward.
Flight of Guardian Angels - 16 Doves
At the conclusion of the graveside ceremony, a group of 12 White Guardian Angels are released and will ascend skyward, awaiting the release of the Spirit Dove; a single White Dove is then released by a relative or a dear friend. The Spirit Dove, symbolic of the loved one’s soul, joins the group of Guardian Angels, and as a group they are then joined with the release of 3 doves, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (the Trinity).
Veterans Release Package- 25 Doves
Following the playing of taps* or after a moment of silence, 21 doves are released for a final blessing to those who have served our country or community, followed by the Spirit Dove and then the Trinity. This 21 dove release is ONLY available for those who have served in the military or Policemen and Firemen as they deserve this special farewell.

W&W White Doves offer free veteran release under certain circumstanses; ask us to see if this may apply to you. We can put you in touch with the local Honor Guard for full Military Honors.

Cremation- Star Dust Release
Cremation has become a popular alternative. When the time has come for someone we love to make that inevitable journey up to the heavens, we are left with only our memories with which to carry us through. Memories of tears, dreams, smiles and love. In honor of your special someone and your special memories, we, at W&W White Doves, wish that your final goodbye be just as special.
We proudly offer the Star Dust Release. A miniature double urn is attached to a specifically trained white dove; it is filled with a few ashes of your loved one on one side and our special stardust in the other. The Dove is then released to soar with a twinkle of stardust to reflect in the sun, as your loved ones ashes are scattered to the ground. This release is environmentally friendly and can be done over unpopulated areas only.
