Remember, sophomores... The last day to get your dues in is on Thursday, May 1, 2008. Just get it over with and give your money to either Ms. Rizvi or Mr. Perez.
In case you didn't know, TAKS testing will occur on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. What subjects, you ask? Here they are.
Tuesday (4/29)- Math
Thursday (5/1)- Science
Friday (5/2)- Social Studies
Be sure to get plenty of rest the night before and a good breakfast the morning of the test. Best of luck everyone!
The time has come to start collecting class dues. As you know, it's $50 this year ($75 if you didn't pay last year). This counts towards senior stuff like prom and graduation.Please give the money to either Ms. Rizvi or Mr. Perez starting on Monday, April 7 and the last day to collect money is on Thursday, May 1. It IS a good idea to turn in money early so you don't have to worry about it later. Flyers will be up with more info.
After the valiant effort of the Class of 2010, (I hate to post this..*cringe*) we got 3rd place on both Spirit Team and Field Day as a whole.
I know, I know.We have lots of comments about the whole thing, but who cares? We'll get them next year (that means people, start practicing your jump-shots, spikes, grand slams, etc.). We also had fun, so that's all that matters. If any of you guys have pictures you'd like to put up on the gallery, just email me or send the pics to debakeyhs2010@yahoo.com. Thanks!
