The Twelve Commandments of Nomination

1) As with most, if not all Awards, you can only nominate your site for Best New Site if it has been open for less than 6 months and it must be over 6months for Best Old Site.  If you have trouble deciding if your website is six or seven months old or somewhere in between, I would suggest that you enter as Best New Site.

2) Even though some of us, coming upon an amazing, lovable, splendid website, feel the urge to nominate that website, do not nominate another person's site, you can only nominate your own site or a site for which you are an administrator.  Instead, you might want to invite the owner of that amazing, lovable, splendid website, to join the ranks of nominess of their own accord!

3) Keep in mind, this is mainly for Lord of the Rings websites, but I will accept others as well.  Example: I've never been a fan of Harry Potter, so any Harry Potter websites or anything with Harry Potter content I will judge only upon creativity and the devotion of the webmaster/mistress and I promise I will not let my personal likes and dislikes get in the way.

4) Best layout means YOU made the layout, so if you did NOT make the layout, please do not enter Best Layout.

5) Don't steal a friend's glory when it comes to graphics.  If you don't have your own graphics and they are "borrowed", don't enter the graphics category!  They have to be your own graphics.

6) When nominating and you see "My Horse" type Elgalazar, so that I know you read the rules, otherwise I cannot accept your nomination.

7) Please link back to me and place it in an easily seen area of your website!  I will publicize your site if you will publicize mine.  Doesn't that work wonderfully?

8) If you don't win an award, don't through a hissy fit, just try again the next round!  And please don't send hate mail... You'll never see another nomination.

9) Win awards now, nominate next time as well!  But if you win similar awards two rounds in a row, I will politely ask you to leave the ranks for one round.

10) I like clean sites, pretty sites, with no ugliness of inappropriate pictures and foul language.  I despise discusting language and improper topics, so your site needs to be clean for me to actually view it, otherwise your nomination will go into the same place my stomach contents will go.

11) Please nominate in at least 5 categories so that you may have a better chance of winning!
