Good morning, dear friends

By now, you should know how to divide your home into grids or sectors. If not, you can still get request for a house chart at our Web Store 1. It is of utmost importance that you know the correct Grid Chart or Pie Chart (see pictures below) so that you will know the locations of the Flying or Annual Stars for year 2009 - to be exact, from 04 February, 2009 to 03 February, 2010.

There are 5 Auspicious Sectors, and 4 Inauspicious Sectors. We need to place Feng Shui cures to counter the negative sectors, and tap on those auspicious sectors with Feng Shui enhancers.

Below is a brief description of what the respective Stars that take new positions in our homes according to each solar new year. I will begin with the bad stars because we want to remedy those first before we go on to enhance those good stars.

The Stars and their locations in 2009 are :-

Yellow Star # 5 - North

- known as “Misfortune Star” or the “Five Yellow”, it brings accidents, illnesses and obstacles. This area should have peace and quiet, with minimum activities and noise.

Black Star # 2 - West

- this star bring health problems and stress, and is known as the “Sickness Star”

Jade Star # 3 - NorthEast

- it brings arguments, gossip or stress. In addition to this star, the “God of the Year” or “Tai Sui” or “Grand Duke Jupiter” will reside in the NE1 sector (between 22.5 and 37.5 degrees).

So, there is a double whammy of negativity in this sector. Please make sure your cures are ready to counter the double affliction there.

Do not challenge the “Tai Sui” by facing him when you are seated, but instead get his support in all your endeavours by having your back facing the NE1, as this means he will be “backing you up with his support” in 2009.

Red Star # 7 - East

- be extra careful with security as this star brings robbery or thieves. In addition, the “Three Killings” or “San Shar” is located in this sector. Offending the “Three Killings” may bring losses or accidents.

Do not have your back facing the “Three Killings” as it would stab you in the back, but face East when you sre seated.

White Star # 8 - SouthEast

- known as the “Primary Wealth Star”, this is the most prosperous and vibrant star of this period 8. It governs wealth and prosperity from main sources such as salaries, rentals, businesses, and other regular source of income

Purple Star # 9 - Centre

- this is the star that brings luck for future expansion or prosperity, to be tapped for long-term profits and wealth, e.g. promotions, investments, etc

White Star # 1 - NorthWest

- the star that brings good reputation, recognition and advancement luck. Good for personal growth, and doing well in exams and promotions

White Star # 6 - SouthWest

- this star brings power and authority, along with noblemen and benefactors. However, the “Sui Po” or “Year Breaker” is also in this sector. Therefore, no renovation nor groundbreaking work should be done here - otherwise, there will be bad luck. So, caution should be exercised when thinking of activating this sector, for fear of activating the “Sui Po” or bad luck instead.

Green Star # 4 - South

- or “Wisdom Star” or “Romance Star”, this sector is good to study or work in. The singles can enhance their romance luck.

Caution

1) In all the negative sectors mentioned above, do not undertake digging, renovation, demolition or ground breaking works before consulting a Feng Shui Master for advice.

2) If your main door or entrance to your home or if your bedroom is in any of the afflicted sectors, make sure you have the Feng Shui cures in place because those sectors are being “activated”, when they should be kept quiet.

In summary, the four auspicious sectors are SouthEast, South, NorthWest and Centre, and the five inauspicious sectors are NorthEast, North, East, SouthWest and West.
