          BASIC CONCEPT OF PLAY

 

Ok guys it will work basically this way. You will all be assigned the same scn's. You will play both sides at the same time and send in your total score the one with the best total score of both games will be the winner. Winners will advance to the next round. On games with an odd number of winners the highest scoring loosing opponent will advance too and play against a winner. In this way starting with 10 opponents it should require that a total of 3 scn's to be played. Obviously since we are taking total scores it will not matter if the scn is balanced or not. I will try and pick fun scn's I have played that are not all too long.

It is expected that you play at least 3 turns a week per scn. Failure to complete 3 turns a week will result in a forfit. At that rate we should get through the 3 scn's in under 3 months. I expect many of the opponents to complete it in under the 3 months.

Special dispensation on the number of turns per week can be made due to vacations, work, or other issues with aggreement from both opponents and the tourney manager.

          RULES OF PLAY

 

 

NOTE:  Everyone must be on the latest version of the mod on this website.  It score helicopters and civilians losses different than past version and reduces some fire effectiveness of various units.

 

1.  US are able to load or unload units from helicopters anywhere EXCEPT dense jungle, water, or on bunkers (as this places the units immediately into the bunker).  In other words, Helicopters may not assault alone.

2.  Any unit with an assault factor can take part in an assault or block units as long as there is an infantry unit taking part in the assault or in a hex directly next (blocking) to the unit being assaulted.

3. Use of helicopters to hold a vp hex is not allowed.  In other words you cannot park a helicopter on a VP hex without an infantry, armor, or arty unit there too.  Exception is you ran out of movement points on one during an assault or scouting.

4.  You may not remove units from the board except on an officially designated exit hex.
