This website is created by a group of Cape Breton University students who are currently
working on their Bachelor of Arts Community Studies degree. We are currently in Community Interventions class and we are a distance group. This class focuses on giving students the opportunity to work in small groups and to execute a community intervention which is based on our research, a needs assessment, and strategic plan (CBU Website). Our group members are from a variety of cities in Canada and the United-States.
We have decided to focus our site on children who are showing characteristics of bullies. We decided to focus on this group because we thought there was a lack of help avaliable for children who display bullying characteristics. With our research of past interventions and talking to many different people in the school system we have decided that our intervention is relevant and our intervention can be very useful.
